Symptom Management

It is important to track your symptoms for 2 menstrual cycles (if applicable).

Next, we recommend that you consult a doctor to rule out any more serious health conditions, and to discuss your symptom checker/ tracker results.

Once a cyclical or hormonal medication-based relationship has been identified, please;

  1. Read our ‘all symptoms‘ page… 4 simple steps to improve your health
  2. Check out the tips and tricks for managing your specific symptoms
  3. Keep tracking your health as you make changes, to record how your symptoms improve over time
  4. Let us know how it goes! Please share your story, or contact us directly… Thanks!

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) causes persistent fatigue (exhaustion) and may be triggered, or worsened cyclically.

When you're constipated, passing stools becomes more difficult and less frequent than usual.

Depression disproportionately affects people with a menstrual cycle, and is known to worsen cyclically.

Diarrhoea regularly occurs just before or during menstruation, as well as being a side effect of hormonal medications.

Difficulty concentrating/ fuzzy brain

Fuzzy brain (difficulty concentrating) can be triggered by hormone-related symptoms e.g. fatigue, low mood, or pain.
